I’m skipping last Tuesday- it didn’t exist. Nothing exciting happened, and it generally blew. And I can’t really talk about what’s in this picture. It’s what I’m working on right now. Enticing, no?

Invitations are officially done! On the way down to NJ on Saturday we wrote everyone’s names on the inner envelope and stuffed them! It was quite exciting!!!!! SO EXCITING!!! OK- I’m way excited. Anyway- they are in the mail!

veggies

I like everyone else in this hemisphere is getting quite excited about cooking all of these fresh veggies that are sprouting up all over! Corn! It’s corn time! Corn!! And avocados that are actually ripe! And onions! well- onions aren’t really a spring thing. ah well… I made hamburgers with these- tiny little hamburgers. YUM!

I need to stop knitting lace and start working on Lindsey and Ben’s quilt! They’re getting married in SEVEN WEEKS!

This is the newest addition to the my shawl kick.  Isn’t the shawl pin pretty?  How do you wear a shawl, exactly?

mac

This is Mac, my mom’s horse. She always had horses when she was young and she sold her horse when she got married to my dad. She bought Mac a month before a graduated college. He’s a very sweet horse, and because of him- I didn’t do any crafting on Saturday! Well not entirely because of him, but he was a pretty big chunk of it. It was great to be outside all day!

Smoothie

I’ve been making smoothies for Ben and I most mornings. This one was frozen rasberries, fat free plain yogurt, pomegranate blueberry juice, and a banana. It was really good! I especially like making them with frozen mango, but I was all out. These super cool cups are what we bring them in the car in. They’re totally kitschy cool!

Ben and I have started walking to get us into shape for the wedding and for Hawaii! It’s nice to be outside for a couple hours on the weekends! Hopefully we’ll work up to 8 miles before the wedding. We’ve been going to the gym also, but not quite as often as we mean to.
